BREAKFAST WITH THE EASTER BUNNY
This event will be held March 20, 2010 at 10 a.m. at the Armitage Banquet Room at Armitage Golf Course. The buffet breakfast consists of scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, hash browns, juice, and coffee. Each child will sit on the Easter Bunny’s lap and will receive a photo and gift. The cost is $8.00 per person and $4 for children 2 years of age and younger. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and will begin on February 23 at 8 a.m. No reservations will be accepted before this date.
EASTER EGG HUNT
Hampden Township Recreation Department will conduct an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 27th at 10 a.m. on soccer fields 5 and 6 in Hampden Park (behind the tennis courts). Participants should park in the pool parking lot. The hunt is open to all Township children, 2 to 8 years old. Rain location is the Recreation Building Community Room.
Children in Hampden Twp, Silver Spring, and East Pennsboro are welcome to attend these FREE clinics. Staff will show proper techniques of starting, long jump, and softball throw. The clinics will give participants the opportunity to practice for the Hershey Track and Field Meet. Participation in the clinics is not required to participate in the meet. Clinic schedules may change or be cancelled for various reasons. Please call 909-5630 to volunteer to help at the clinics or in case of inclement weather. Locations and times are as follows:

Meet
Hershey Track and Field Meet is intended to introduce youth ages 9 to 14 years of age, as of Dec. 31, 2010, to the sport of track and field. The meet will be held Sunday, May 2 at 2 pm at the East Pennsboro High School Track. Advance registration is required. Registration forms will be available at the Hampden Township Rec. Dept. in early March. Registration deadline is April 23, 2010.

August 8, 2010 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Hampden Park Pool Complex. This band
will perform songs in the tradition of John Phillip Sousa to include marches,
patriotic tunes and show tune medleys.

Family Fun Night
Creekview
Family Fun Night will be celebrated on Friday, July 30, 2010. You and your
family have enjoyed Creekview Family Fun Night for many years, so be sure to
come this year! Activities will begin at 6:00 p.m. and end about 9:00 p.m.
Activities will include carnival games, face painting, tattoos, amusement rides,
videokie and musical entertainment.
Volunteers
are needed to help make this community event successful. If any civic
organization, youth group, sports organization, or Scout troop would like to
conduct an activity or perform some service at this event, please contact the
Hampden Township Recreation Department at 761-4951. This could be an excellent
way to raise funds for your organization's functions.
