SWIMMING POOL
THE POOL IS NOW CLOSED FOR THE SEASON.
GENERAL INFORMATION :
The Hampden Township Swimming Pool is located in the Park/ Pool complex on Park Street Extended off S. Sporting Hill Rd. The pool includes the following:

limited amount of life jackets and kickboards are available for free simply by
leaving a membership card or other form of ID as collateral.
POOL HOURS:
The pool is open 7 days a week during the summer.
ADULT FITNESS SWIM: 11 a.m. - 12
noon ; 7 p.m. - 8 p.m.*
*Please find pool staff to reserve a lane for you if you are interested in the evening lap swim. There is a 15 minute adult swim every hour on the hour through out the day beginning at 1 p.m. For more information, please click on the "classes" link at the top or bottom of this page.

**Please note, on occasion the pool will not open at regular hours due to home swim meets. Click here for specific dates.

May 29th - 31st (Memorial Day Weekend)

September 4th - September 6th (Labor Day Weekend.
Possibility of limited hours)
POOL CLOSINGS:
The Hampden Recreation Department reserves the right to close the pool for the following conditions:
Sustained Rainfall
Cold Temperatures (less than 65 degrees)
Poor Attendance
Lightning: the pool must be cleared for a half hour
after every visible sign of lightning or thunder clap. Patrons will be
permitted to re-enter the pool when the guards return to their stand and blow
their whistles in unison.
